Breviario mediterraneo
I’m reading this book, it’s a deep voyage in my loved sea, among its cultures, cities, humanities, religions, stories.
Summer is close, the smell of the sea is already present.
Holy Shroud
The Holy Shroud is not a relic, but anyway it’s an incredible and affascinating mean to remember what happened two thousand years ago in Gerusalem.
It’s in the Turin Cathedreal, dedicated to Saint John.
Larus michahellis
This Herring Gull (Gabbiano reale in italian) was taking off from the top of the “Chiesa del Rosario o di San Domenico” in Gallipoli.
One of the books I liked the most during my early years was “Jonathan Livingston Seagull”, of Richard Bach. Sometimes, when I’m in Gallipoli, I like to take it from our bookshelf and read it again.
Salone del Libro di Torino
Last saturday I went to the Turin’s Book Fest. It’s a nice event and there I usually buy a lot of books, mainly books that are very difficult to find into normal bookstores.
This year the main theme of the fest was “Primavera digitale” (Digital spring): I attended to a presentation about self publishing; it’s very interesting that now writers can publish themselves their books without the need of an editor.
